I sometimes worry about people deciding to take less risks with regards to investing money in their company. I know that we are in a very tricky financial climate and that does make people very worried. However, things are the same whether we are in good or bad financial times in the sense that you will need to invest money in order to move forward.

I know someone who runs their own small business and they decided to set up a new website. To save money they decided to do it themselves. This was fine but when they finished it and published it they did nothing else. No promotion what so ever. They did not even go to a search engine optimisation company in order to help them out because although they knew they needed help in this area they thought that they could not afford it. However. I think that they have wasted money getting a site done and not promoting it as no one will see it. That small extra investment could have really paid off and increased their sales massively.
