I have noticed lately that using shaving brushes and straight razors is becoming fashionable again. It always reminds me of my grandfather when I see these as I always used to love playing with his shaving brushes as I had never seen any before. I think that they look really stylish in a gentleman’s bathroom and the old fashioned look somehow looks more sophisticated. If I was a bloke, I think I would be really happy to get some as a gift, if only to put on display in my bathroom! I am not sure whether I would cut myself too much using a straight razor but I know that they do give a much closer shave, I guess it is just a matter of practice.
